Ku-ring-gai aboriginal tribeThe Ku-ring-gai people are described to be located between Newcastle down to Sydney. They were known for their skills in hunting and fishing and harvesting food which they found in their surrounding bushland. They were a co operate tribe, not needing to travel much for resources because they traded with their neighbouring tribes. Using their skills they developed a rich and complex culture with a distinctive language, customs, spirituality and law, the heart of which was their connection to the land.
