These apartments are for people moving into my suburb, St Ives. They provide housing for people who want to buy apartments and are pretty convenient because they are close to a train line, bus stop and many shops including St Ives shopping village. As well as being close to schools and chapels these apartments replaced some shops and businesses that were occupying the area. Now that apartments are being build, the land can be put to a better use, for many more people to enjoy it. In Sydney currently the population is growing quickly so we need to keep up and make changes to adapt to problems. Us creating more apartments is a solution to this problem so it will greatly contribute in helping our suburb function and thrive well.
These changes being vital moves now may not be sustainable in the future. With the population growing we need other things than apartments like more forms of public transport and different shops located in different areas so these apartments could potentially be taking up a school in the future. Right now all we need is apartments, so with a wider variety of housing people can be suited with what they believe is just right. In the future however, we may need an increase of public transport or emergency services for example so we can’t rely on apartments for our source of blooming.
